When the water droplets are in contact with the air, on the one hand, due to the direct heat transfer between the air and the water, and on the other hand, due to the pressure difference between the surface of the water vapor and the air, evaporation occurs under the action of the pressure, that is, through the contact with the unsaturated dry air. The heat transfer takes away the sensible heat of the water, and part of the water evaporates to take away the latent heat in the water, so as to achieve the purpose of cooling the cooling water.
The waste heat generated in industrial production or refrigeration process is generally conducted with cooling water.
