Water treatment problem of spray water system of evaporative condenser
When circulating cooling water is in operation, the water will experience evaporation loss, wind loss, pollution loss and leakage loss. In order to maintain the water level of the pool, it will be supplemented accordingly. The sum of the above four losses constitutes the water supplement.
Dissolved salts in circulating water will also be concentrated. This is because the amount of water produced by evaporation loss basically does not bring out salt, and the salt in the supplemented water will accumulate in the circulating water, so the water system runs for a long time, the salt in the water will also be correspondingly concentrated.
When the allowable concentration ratio is low, and the sewage and water consumption will be large. While when the allowable concentration ratio is high which can reduce the water volume and save water. However, if the concentration ratio is too high, the tendency of water scaling will increase, and the difficulty of scaling control and corrosion control will increase, and the it is not benefit to control the quantity of microorganisms. Therefore, the concentration multiple of circulating water must have a reasonable control index.
In order to save water, concentration ratio should be increased, so that the sewage discharge is small, it may not even be discharged. However, increasing the concentration ratio can only be achieved by selecting excellent chemicals and processes or by improving the quality of supplementary water and improving the quality of circulating water. There are several ways:
1). Reduce the hardness of the primary water supplement, and use demineralized water to reduce the hardness of the primary water. Thereby achieving zero emissions and less emissions.
2). Add chemicals to the water, such as corrosion and scale inhibitors and fungicides. The specific addition should be determined according to the pH value and hardness of the water and the nature of the agent used.
